

The Consumer Academy founded by Fahri Ustaoğlu in 1988 and The Consumer Journal have been published at same date.The Consumer Journal which published with support of Sainted Adnan Kahveci took to agenda that consumer issues with The summit organization every year since inception. It created public opinion for creation of consumer law. It defended not only consumer but also companies and the country's economy have a high opinion of trouble-free production. Also manufacturer's the importance of consumer-oriented was emphasized while consumer conscious. Quality will increase with competitionand One way of consumer protection is competition were expressed.
The Consumer Academy headquarter moved in 1990 to İstanbul and it has been continues to activites. The programs were prepared at firstly TRT then Star, TGRT, SHOW TV, KANAL 7 etc. The importance of consumer corners preparing in daily newspapers was pointed. The establishment of consumer society and foundation was contributed. The Consumer Journal which it is first consumer publication of Turkey is still published.
Since 2000, the importance of trust in brands was pointed with survey about "The Brands İmpact on Consumers". The most trusted brands of year was rewarded for encourage them every year on 15 March. The Consumer Academy, The Consumer Magazines as well as conferences, panels and other educational studies with various universities and non-governmental organizations have been continued to its working the consumer awareness and upgrade of quality.
Since 2009, İncluding European Countries the managers of brands that offer products and services to consumers all over the world through gathering around a platform about trouble-free production and human quality studies was moved to international perspective with the International Quality Summit Organization.
The Consumer Academy was decided to its activities all over the world as "World Consumer Academy" to pursue at The EU Consumer Quality Summit on 29 - 30 May 2010 in Brussels.
